Cameron grew up in Huddersfield and is now in his fourth and final year of study at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. He has been playing the saxophone
for 14 years and can also play clarinet and piano. Whilst on the classical BMus (Hons) course, he also plays jazz music, currently recording a jazz
album as part of his major project that will be released later this year. Since studying at the conservatoire, he has played baritone sax with the
Conservatoire Jazz and Ellington orchestras and predominantly with the Avesta Quartet. The quartet won the Leamington music prize last year and recently
held their prize-winning concert in the Leamington Arts Centre, which included a new piece written for them by Howard Skempton.
