Keith started playing the cornet when 6 years old learning from the then Bandmaster of Fakenham Temple Band, Brian Lewis. After 10 years playing in the
YP and Senior Bands and the Eastern Counties Youth Band, he then joined the British Army as a musician. Whilst in training he changed to clarinet,
then over the next two years spent time training at the Army Junior School of Music Pirbright, followed by the Royal Military school of Music, Kneller
Hall. After joining the REME Band, he changed to the tenor & baritone saxophone completing 20 years service before moving to the Scots Guards Band.
In his military career, he has travelled and performed at some of the biggest venues around the globe; a highlight being a part of the first British
Military Band to march onto Red Square in Moscow. After retiring from the British Army in 2016, he joined the Reserves and is now playing baritone
sax with the Waterloo Band and Bugles of the Rifles. Keith attends the Corps at Lower Earley.
